...a European civil society initiative fostering education for active democratic citizenship and shared ownership of Europe among young Europeans. The alliance helps young Europeans up to the age of 30 (pupils, students and young professionals) to develop their skills as responsible European citizens and to take action for a democratic and sustainable Europe. All its projects and initiatives are based on a practical hands-on approach. The European Alliance for Democratic Citizenship is affiliated to the Network of European Foundations and initiated by the Körber Foundation. The European Policy Centre is operating partner of the European Alliance for Democratic Citizenship for its common project FutureLab Europe.
