Liliana Caraça

EPCI have a background in European Law and I hold a M.A. in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges. I have studied and worked in Belgium, France, Germany and Portugal. I am currently based in Brussels where, besides my work as a Policy Advisor for online businesses, I joined several activities related to gender equality and youth engagement. My main interests are digital technologies, social innovation and development policy.

Why I joined FutureLab Europe? I believe that together we can act as a platform on which we will address the most pressing social and political challenges. Our objective: spread bright and creative ideas that aim to engage young citizens!

Why do I think that Europe needs active citizens? Europe needs more active citizens to enhance a wide and informed debate at European, national and local level. Young Europeans can contribute with their skills and ideas to the democratic process in order to ensure better accountability and transparency.
