I have a background in Political and International Studies, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Global Studies. I am based in Oporto but studied in Oporto and Lisbon, and I have also completed short courses and summer schools all over Europe. My main interests are foreign policy, diplomacy, and EU affairs.
Why I joined FutureLab Europe? I believe that FutureLab Europe is an excellent platform for young Europeans to discuss and think about EU integration and democracy. The empowerment and dialogue with policy-makers enabled by FutureLab Europe are an outstanding opportunity to any active citizen interested in local or global action.
Why do I think that Europe needs active citizens? Active citizenship is important because only through participation and lively engagement with the world around us we can make sure public policies aim towards a more equal and just society.
