I have an academic background in sociology, cultural sciences and sustainable development, but also did a commercial apprenticeship. I am based in Lüneburg but have lived and worked in Berlin, Hamburg and San Francisco (USA). My main interests are politics, community organizing and social entrepreneurship.
Why I joined FutureLab Europe? Because I think that the current challenges demand coalitions of visionary Europeans – from the local grassroots to transnational level!
Why do I think that Europe needs active citizens? Active citizenship is important because it’s both the engine and the fuel of progressive change. Active citizens do not only recognise challenges in their community, but also build with their everyday commitment to the fundamentals of a working democracy.
