I have a background in politics, being involved in the Social Democratic Party (PSOE) in Spain, as well as in student representation, being part of the international committee that represents the Spanish Students’ Union in the European Students’ Union meetings and in the Aerospace field. I am currently completing the senior year of my Aerospace Bachelor’s degree in the Polytechnic University of Valencia. I am based in Valencia in Spain but have been working in different projects in Belgium, Germany, France, French Guiana, Morocco, Finland, Slovakia and Poland. My main interests are European politics, also history, for this reason I am involved in EUSTORY and the aerospace field, where I have an internship in the European Space Agency.
Why I joined FutureLab Europe? I joined FutureLab Europe because I believe in Europe as one strong big country with many different cultures that can live together sharing a common interest. Throughout the different European experiences I have been involved in, I have discovered that Europeans have more similarities than differences, so we should work together to have a strong structure in Europe that helps us to continue being the place in the world with the most important social rights.
Why do I think that Europe needs active citizens? I believe Europe needs active citizens because Europe as a united concept needs people from all countries and all backgrounds to make it grow up and achieve social advances that we can’t yet imagine, as it has always done in history.
