Young generation’s workplan for the EU Commission 2014-2019

24. October 2014

What are the topics the new EU Commission needs to tackle foremost in the eyes of young Europeans? FutureLab Europe participants defined their priorities with regard to the political guidelines for the 2014-2019 EU Commission that its president Jean-Claude Juncker presented.

The workplan drafted by FutureLab Europe participants contains the young generation’s recommendations to the European Commission on the basis of the four umbrella topics listed in the Strategic Agenda for the Union in Times of Change. FutureLab Europe’s final propositions range from calling for a reconfiguration of the Youth Guarantee scheme to support long term youth employment, to asking for the development of a unified EU migration policy.
