FutureLab Europe met Swedish Minister Kristina Persson

FutureLab Europe attended the 2015 OECD Forum

oecd-2015-2FutureLab Europe met Swedish Minister Kristina Persson at the 2015 Forum of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The Forum took place at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, France, on 2-3 June 2015. FutureLabbers Ana Luisa Correia, Marian Cramers, Efehan Danisman and Nathalie Straker joined the Forum and participated actively in different sessions, sharing their views and formulating policy solutions on how to shape a better future.

Europe@Debate in Hamburg, Germany: Pictures of War

adnan_pictures-of-warFutureLabber Adnan Rahimić participated in the Europe@Debate: Pictures of War organized by the Körber Foundation in Hamburg on 27 May 2015, in occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Dayton agreement.During the event, Adnan Rahimić – who grew up in Bosnia during the Balkan wars – and photojournalist Tom Stoddart – who lived in Sarajevo during the siege –spoke about everyday life in wartime, cultural conflicts in the region and the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the gates / In Transit photo exhibition in Oslo in the context of the FutureLab Europe Fortress Europe project

fortress-europe-4FutureLab Europe’s “Fortress Europe from a youth perspective” project has contributed to the launch of the photo exhibition “At the gates / In Transit” on migrants and asylum seekers in Europe. The photographs, taken by photographers Erik Åhman and Harri Joensuu, can be seen in Oslo at the Deichmanske bibliotek, in Arne Garborgs plass 4.
