Before attending the FutureLab Europe (FLE) Annual Forum this past January, I was very sceptical about the idea of a group of young people being listened to and taken seriously. But thanks to FLE and the European Policy Centre (EPC), I now strongly believe in young people being able to  influence, participate, and have strong and great ideas. Above all, I believe in our determination and tenacity to change what needs to be improved or implemented. The dynamism and energy of such a group of diverse young people creates a strong voice that, on behalf of the rest of European citizens, can return at least at a local level, the hope that cooperation, democracy and power can still work.
