The first FutureLab Europe programme gave me the chance to collect new thought-provoking concepts, the chance to discuss political issues from different national points of view as well as to be part of a network of awesome people from all over Europe. FutureLab Europe helped me to make a big step forward to understand interesting topics concerning the EU from the diverse perspectives of other participants, to understanding the complex structure of the EU in one of the most interesting ways possible, learning by doing. Participating in FutureLab Europe is an enriching experience. I recommend everyone who is interested in the EU, wants to dig in and not just to stay on the surface of EU-policy-making, to apply for the 2012 program to be part of a Europe-wide network of ambitious young European professionals by taking the chance to change something in the future.
